The Gandhian ideology is so humanistic that as long as there is conflict, violence, exploitation, injustice and poverty in the world, it will continue to be relevant. And since, these constitute the eternal problems of humanity, Gandhian ideals and ideas are also eternal. In the fury of rapid economic growth and technological development, Gandhi became a man of good but outdated thinking. Our capacity to destroy both nature and man side tracked Gandhian ideology of simple living and high thinking; of harmony and peace; of human freedom and collaborative social order; of economy without greed; and of technology that enhances human dignity. As man reached the edge of self destruction, caught by nihilistic tendencies, Gandhi has became his last hope. Gandhian ideology has become the foundation on which a peaceful and harmonious world can be built.
