The entire theme was developed in a conceptual frame. Need and significance of study was focused properly by understanding new dimensions of development journalism in a new sociological perspective. The concept of development journalism was studied in the post modernization phase in a new sociological perspective. The focus was mainly on new ideas and new vision of change. Objected were highlighted properly in the background of MDG. The MDG readership and Indian efforts of development journalism have been studied here in a new angle. The relevance of Marathwada and development journalism was focused properly. The future line of study was properly pointed out and new areas of development journalism upcoming in the language press have highlighted here. Finally brief review of seven important published books from 1992 to 2015 was covered. This study touches mile stone works useful for present research explorations.
