Summary, etc India is a land of various ethnic, multi-cultural, multi religious and various indigenous people most backwards and marginalized sections are considered to be the tribal community, though they share 8.6% of the total population of India (Census, 2011) which means India is home for more than 10.42 crore tribal people. Tribal people are primitive residents of India. They have their own culture, traditions and geographical territories. They play a key role in the management of natural, social, economic assets and agricultural development including crop production, livestock production, horticulture and post-harvest operations, but even after 75 five years of Independence, they are living a low standard life and remained the least beneficiaries of all the developmental schemes and benefits given by government of India. They are still facing with numerous problems that hamper their progress and development such as, poverty, educational problems, land problems, health problems, naxalism, and exploitation of children, inefficient administration and Governance. Therefore, for inclusion of these groups into mainstream and to improve their socio-economic condition, ministry of tribal affairs is formulating various schemes and programmes for the development of tribal communities in India. Due to the welfare programmes tribal communities also made themselves conscious about their own clans' upliftment. With the development of nation from time to time, the tribal have faced displacement and deprivation to facilitate various developmental projects, to set up industries, construction of dams etc. which leading to deforestation and ecological disbalance.
