The book examines the current situation of education in Haryana with respect to major features of the Right to Education (RTE) Act. It attempts to strengthen policy research focussing on the implementation of the RTE Act in the state. It contributes in its own humble way towards policy making and applied research by not only highlighting the gaps between the commitments laid out in the RTE Act and its achievements but by also providing suggestions to bridge the same.
