The study focuses on the flag- ship scheme called 'Carib Kalyan Yojana' which comprises of the following schemes- Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojna Gramin (PMAY-C), a central government scheme introduced in April 2016 to address the gap in rural housing to provide "Housing for All"; Pradhan Mantri Carib Kalyan Anna Yojna rolled out in March 2020 for free distribution of foodgrain to marginalised section of society during COVID-19 with special reference to Uttar Pradesh; Pradhan Mantri Ujjawala Yojna, a flagship scheme to provide clean source of energy to deprived house- holds; Deendayal Upadhyay Gram Jyoti Yojna, a scheme for rural electrification of the entire households in the country; Jan Dhan Yojna scheme aims for financial inclusion by presenting solutions to the current economic problems faced by the com- mon people; Swachh Bharat Mission, a flagship program and an initiative by the Government of India.
